Xe is known for its currency converter and live exchange rates, and it also sends money internationally. Its public website carries the converter, rate charts, alerts and the way into a transfer.
My role
I took technical ownership of the public website after its tech lead left: I kept the codebase healthy, trained the web team and redesigned hiring for front-end engineers and University of Waterloo interns.
